Lumineers in Turkey offers a revolutionary way to achieve a perfect smile without the pain or drilling associated with traditional veneers. If you are dreaming of a Hollywood smile but want to keep your natural teeth intact, this “no-prep” solution is exactly what you need.

At Dentafly, we specialize in applying Lumineers in Turkey, providing international patients with high-end aesthetics at a fraction of the cost found in the UK or USA. Often called “contact lenses for your teeth,” Lumineers are ultra-thin, requiring little to no removal of sensitive tooth structure.

In this comprehensive guide, we will explore everything you need to know about the procedure, the cost advantage, and why Lumineers in Turkey has become the top choice for non-invasive smile makeovers in 2026.

Patient showcasing a perfect smile after getting Lumineers in Turkey

What Are Lumineers?

Lumineers are a specific brand of ultra-thin porcelain veneers made from a patented ceramic material called Cerinate. While traditional veneers are typically 0.5mm to 0.7mm thick, Lumineers are incredibly thin—approximately 0.2mm to 0.3mm, roughly the thickness of a contact lens.

Because they are so thin, they can often be placed directly over your existing teeth with little to no removal of the tooth structure. This is why they are marketed as “No-Prep” or “Prepless” veneers.

  • No Anesthesia: Since there is usually no drilling involved, you generally don’t need shots or numbing.
  • Reversible: Because your natural teeth underneath remain largely intact, the procedure is often reversible (unlike traditional veneers).

Lumineers vs. Laminated Veneers (E-max): What is the Difference?

This is the most common question we receive at Dentafly. While both treatments transform your smile, they are fundamentally different in application and indication.

FeatureLumineers (No-Prep)E-max Laminate Veneers
ThicknessUltra-thin (0.2mm – 0.3mm)Standard (0.5mm – 0.7mm)
Tooth PreparationNo drilling required (No-Prep)Minimal enamel shaving required

Reversibility✅ Reversible (Teeth remain intact)❌ Irreversible
Best ForMinor color/shape corrections, gapsCrowded teeth, full smile makeovers
Cost in TurkeyModerate – High PremiumBest Value (High Durability)
Table: Lumineers vs. E-max Veneers Comparison

Which one is right for you?

If your teeth are already straight and you just want to improve color and shape, Lumineers are excellent. However, if you have crowded teeth, severe discoloration, or gaps, traditional E-max Laminate Veneers might be a better choice to achieve perfect alignment without adding bulk.

Why Are Lumineers More Expensive?

Patients often ask, “If there is less work (drilling) involved, why do Lumineers cost more?”

The premium price tag of Lumineers comes down to three factors:

  1. Patented Material: Lumineers are made from Cerinate porcelain, a proprietary material that is exceptionally strong despite being ultra-thin. This material is exclusive and comes with a higher lab fee.
  2. Laboratory Certification: Authentic Lumineers must often be crafted in specific certified laboratories (traditionally the DenMat Lab in California), which adds to the logistical and production costs compared to in-house E-max veneers.
  3. High-Tech Bonding: The bonding protocol for Lumineers requires specialized cements and precise techniques to ensure they stay on without mechanical retention (drilling).

The Turkey Advantage: Even with these high material costs, getting Lumineers in Turkey at Dentafly is significantly more affordable than in the UK, USA, or Europe. You save on the operational and labor costs of the clinic, not the material quality.

The Doctor’s Perspective: Why Do Dentists Prefer (or Avoid) Lumineers?

From a clinical standpoint, Lumineers offer distinct advantages and challenges for the dentist:

The Advantages for the Doctor:

  • Patient Comfort: The biggest stress in a dental chair is pain management. With Lumineers, the “fear factor” is gone. No needles, no drilling noise. This makes the appointment smoother for both the doctor and the patient.
  • No Temporaries: Since the natural teeth aren’t shaved down, the patient doesn’t need to wear fragile temporary veneers while waiting for the permanent ones.

The Challenges:

  • Precision is Key: Because the porcelain is so thin, there is zero room for error. The impression (mold) taken of the teeth must be flawless.
  • “The Bulky Tooth” Risk: If a dentist applies Lumineers to teeth that are already large or protruding, the result can look “horse-like” or bulky. A skilled cosmetic dentist knows when to say no to Lumineers and suggest E-max instead.

Aftercare: Potential Issues & How to Maintain Them

Lumineers are durable (lasting over 20 years with proper care), but they require specific attention to detail regarding hygiene.

1. The “Ledge” Issue Because Lumineers sit on top of the tooth rather than in the tooth, there can sometimes be a microscopic “ledge” at the gum line. If not perfectly bonded and polished, this ledge can trap plaque.

  • Solution: Regular professional cleaning and diligent flossing are non-negotiable to prevent gum inflammation (gingivitis).

2. Flossing is Crucial You can and must floss with Lumineers. Some patients are afraid they will pop them off, but if bonded correctly, they are fused to your enamel. Flossing ensures your gums stay pink and healthy, framing your new white smile perfectly.

3. Night Guard Just like natural teeth or regular veneers, Lumineers can chip if you grind your teeth at night (bruxism). We recommend a protective night guard for all our smile makeover patients.

Happy patient smiling confidently after successful Lumineers treatment in Turkey

Lumineers Cost in Turkey (2026)

While prices vary depending on the specific case complexity, here is a general comparison:

  • UK/USA Cost: £900 – £1,200 per tooth.
  • Turkey (Dentafly) Cost: Approximately £250 – £400 per tooth.

Note: Prices are estimates. Please contact our team for a personalized treatment plan.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, is not only a Grammy-winning rapper but also one of the most talked-about celebrities in pop culture. Her journey from the Bronx to global superstardom has been fueled by her talent, authenticity, and bold personality. Yet, alongside her music and outspoken character, one part of Cardi B’s transformation that has gained enormous attention is her teeth makeover.

Before her rise to fame, Cardi B was self-conscious about her smile. Fans and critics frequently pointed out her dental imperfections, and Cardi herself often addressed the topic in interviews and social media posts. Eventually, she invested in a cosmetic dentistry procedure — porcelain veneers — that gave her the flawless Hollywood smile she proudly shows off today.

Before and After of Cardi B teeth
Teeth transformation of Cardi B – before fame and after celebrity

This article dives deep into Cardi B’s dental journey: her teeth before fame, the procedure she chose, the cost, the results, and how her transformation influenced cosmetic dentistry trends worldwide.

Cardi B’s Teeth Before Fame

When Cardi B was still Belcalis Almánzar living in the Bronx, her teeth were noticeably different from her current smile.

Key Features of Cardi B’s Teeth Before Veneers:

  • Spacing issues: noticeable gaps between her teeth

  • Misalignment: uneven positioning that affected her bite

  • Discoloration: staining and dullness that reduced the brightness of her smile

  • Asymmetry: certain teeth appeared smaller and not proportional

In her early career — especially during her appearances on Love & Hip Hop: New York — her teeth were one of the most discussed topics online. Some viewers even mocked her, but Cardi B, known for her blunt honesty, did not hide from the conversation. Instead, she acknowledged her dental insecurities and eventually made a life-changing decision.

The Turning Point: “Love & Hip Hop” Days

During her time on Love & Hip Hop: New York, Cardi B was already showing signs of the star she would become. However, criticism about her smile persisted.

In one memorable moment, Cardi B responded directly to online comments, saying:
“You know what, I’m getting my teeth fixed, and y’all not gonna be able to talk about me no more.”

This declaration marked the start of her dental transformation. She sought help from one of the top celebrity dentists in New York, a move that would soon redefine her image.

The Procedure: What Did Cardi B Do to Her Teeth?

Cardi B turned to Dr. Catrise Austin, a well-known cosmetic dentist often called the “Queen of Smiles.” Dr. Austin specializes in transforming celebrity smiles using advanced techniques in cosmetic dentistry.

Treatment Chosen: Porcelain Veneers

  • What are Veneers? Thin porcelain shells bonded to the front of teeth to improve shape, alignment, and color.

  • Why Porcelain? Strong, stain-resistant, and natural-looking compared to cheaper alternatives like composite bonding.

  • Number of Veneers: Most of her visible teeth (typically 8–10 top and bottom front teeth).

  • Timeframe: The procedure usually takes 2–3 visits over a few weeks.

Cost of Cardi B’s Veneers

Cosmetic dentistry, especially when performed by a celebrity dentist, is not cheap.

  • Estimated Cost for Cardi B: Around $12,000–$15,000 USD

  • Typical Veneer Cost in the U.S.: $800–$2,500 per tooth

  • Maintenance: Veneers usually last 10–15 years with good oral hygiene

For Cardi B, the investment was not just about looks — it was about confidence, career growth, and brand image.

Cardi B’s Smile After Veneers

After her procedure, Cardi B’s transformation was dramatic. Her smile went from being a source of insecurity to one of her most striking features.

Features of Cardi B’s New Smile:

  • Perfect Alignment: Straight, symmetrical teeth

  • Bright White Shade: Natural yet glamorous, camera-ready

  • Proportional Size: Balanced with her facial structure

  • Confidence Boost: She often credits her new smile for helping her feel unstoppable

Her veneers were revealed publicly in 2017, and fans immediately noticed the difference. Soon after, she mentioned her dentist in interviews and even rapped about her new teeth in her songs.

Cardi B’s Lyrics About Her Teeth

Cardi B is known for turning personal experiences into lyrics. After her smile makeover, she proudly referenced it in her hit track “Bodak Yellow” with the line:
“Got a bag and fixed my teeth / Hope you hoes know it ain’t cheap.”

This lyric became iconic — not just for its catchy delivery but also because it showcased how she turned a past insecurity into a celebrated success story.

Why Veneers Were the Best Choice for Cardi B

Laminate dental veneers perfectly matched Cardi B’s needs:

  1. Quick Transformation: No need for years of braces or aligners.

  2. Hollywood Finish: Ideal for her career in music and entertainment.

  3. Stain Resistance: Important for someone constantly photographed.

  4. Durability: Veneers last 8–12 years with proper care.

  5. Confidence Boost: Her new smile aligned with her bold public persona.

Cardi B’s Influence on Cosmetic Dentistry

After Cardi B’s dental transformation, many people began asking for the “Cardi B smile makeover.” Cosmetic dentists across the U.S. and beyond reported a spike in young patients requesting veneers after being inspired by Cardi B’s story.

Cultural Impact:

  • Normalization: Cardi B openly discussed her dental work, reducing stigma.

  • Representation: She showed that investing in cosmetic dentistry is not just for Hollywood elites.

  • Trendsetting: “Cardi B teeth before and after” became one of the most searched dental makeover terms online.

Cardi B’s Dentist: Dr. Catrise Austin

Dr. Austin has become widely known thanks to her work with Cardi B and other celebrities. She emphasizes how a smile can influence confidence, social success, and career opportunities. Cardi B’s case became one of Dr. Austin’s most famous makeovers, further cementing her reputation in the world of cosmetic dentistry.

Comparison With Other Celebrity Smile Transformations

Cardi B’s dental journey is often compared to other stars who underwent smile makeovers:

  • Kylie Jenner: Used veneers and whitening for her Hollywood smile.

  • Tom Cruise: Had dental alignment and veneers early in his career.

  • Miley Cyrus: Veneers and cosmetic reshaping for a balanced smile.

  • Kanye West: Famously admitted to having diamond-encrusted grills and cosmetic work.

By placing Cardi B in this lineup, her transformation is recognized as one of the most influential in modern celebrity culture.

Cardi B Teeth Before and After: Side-by-Side Analysis

  • Before: noticeable gaps, misalignment, discoloration, uneven appearance

  • After: laminate dental veneers, symmetrical smile, radiant white finish

This drastic improvement is why Cardi B’s teeth makeover is considered one of the best celebrity smile transformations of the decade.

Did Cardi B Get Any Other Dental Work?

Aside from veneers, there is speculation about minor gum contouring and professional whitening to maintain her look. However, the primary transformation came from porcelain veneers. Cardi B has not undergone full mouth implants or braces veneers alone were enough to deliver the results she wanted.

Lessons From Cardi B’s Transformation

Cardi B’s dental journey offers key takeaways for anyone considering cosmetic dentistry:

  1. Confidence Is Priceless – A smile can change how you feel about yourself.

  2. Quality Matters – Investing in porcelain veneers ensures long-lasting results.

  3. Own Your Story – Cardi B didn’t hide her dental work; she celebrated it.

  4. Impact Beyond Looks – Her smile makeover became part of her personal brand.

What Is a Full Set of Teeth?

“Full set of teeth” is the phrase UK patients use for renewing every tooth in the mouth. It is not a clinical treatment name – dentists plan it as one of three distinct procedures: full-mouth removable dentures, implant-supported fixed teeth such as All-on-4, or a full set of veneers or crowns on your natural teeth. Which one fits you depends on how many healthy teeth remain, your bone condition and your budget – which is exactly what a clinical assessment establishes before any price is confirmed.

How to Compare Full-Set Quotes Properly

Comparing headline prices between clinics tells you very little, because “full set” covers three different procedures. To compare like for like, check three things on every quote: the exact procedure being priced (dentures, All-on-4 or veneers), the brand of implant or ceramic named in writing, and the number of teeth or implants included. A quote that does not name brands and counts is not a quote you can compare. Our online calculators price by brand and tooth count for precisely this reason, and your written DentaFly plan itemises every line before you commit.

A Note on Treatment Names

You will not find “full set of teeth” in any dental specialty textbook – it is patient language, and we are happy to use it. Clinically, the work is divided between specialists: a maxillofacial surgeon places implants, and after a healing period of around three to five months a cosmetic dentist fits the final crowns or veneers. Popularised searches such as “Turkey teeth” describe the same full-mouth treatments; what matters is that your written plan uses the precise clinical names, brands and counts.

How Much Is a Single Veneer in Turkey?

If you need only one or a few teeth treated rather than a full set, single E-max veneers start from £210 at DentaFly. Material choice changes the price – see current options on our dental veneers guide or the full price list.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a full set of teeth cost in Turkey?

At DentaFly, a full set of teeth costs between £1,960 and £13,000 depending on the route: full-mouth removable dentures from £1,960, All-on-4 fixed implants from £6,604 for both jaws, a full set of 20 E-max veneers from £4,400, and 28 veneers from £6,160. Complex cases combining implants and bone grafting sit at the upper end of the range.

Which full-set treatment is the most expensive?

All-on-4 dental implants, from £6,604 for both jaws. It is the most surgically advanced route: titanium implants are placed in each jaw and a fixed prosthesis is fitted on top, which involves more clinical stages and materials than removable dentures or veneers – and delivers permanent, fixed teeth in return.

What procedures count as a full set of teeth?

Three routes: full-mouth removable dentures, the most economical way to replace all missing teeth; All-on-4 implants, where four implants per jaw support permanent fixed teeth; and a full set of veneers or crowns applied to healthy natural teeth for a complete cosmetic transformation. Your X-ray determines which routes are clinically suitable for you.

How much cheaper is a full set of teeth in Turkey than in England?

Typically 55-75% cheaper for the same brands and materials. Full-mouth All-on-4 treatment that costs £16,000-£28,000 privately in the UK starts from £6,604 at DentaFly, and a 28-tooth veneer set that would cost £18,000 or more in London starts from £6,160 – with routine aftercare handled at our London clinic rather than requiring another flight.

What determines the final price of a full set of teeth?

Four factors: the procedure itself, the brand of implant or ceramic (Straumann, Nobel Biocare and E-max sit at different price points), the number of teeth or implants in your plan, and any supplementary work such as bone grafting or sinus lifting. Every factor is itemised as a separate line in your written quote before you book.

How long do I need to stay in Turkey for a full set of teeth?

A full set of E-max veneers takes one visit of 4-5 nights. All-on-4 implants take two visits totalling 7-8 nights: implants and temporary teeth are fitted on the first visit, and the permanent teeth on the second after healing. You can have your initial assessment at our London clinic before travelling at all, and all routine follow-ups afterwards are in London too.

Since Turkey is one of the most preferred dental tourism centers, the world’s leading dental implant companies make special discounts and agreements for Turkey. The world’s most popular dental implant brands are frequently used in Turkey. Since dental implant companies in Turkey started production in the 2000s, they are not yet considered to have sufficient approvals and tests. When choosing a dental implant brand, the most important factor is that the doctor has access to the necessary equipment and can work in harmony with this brand. In other words, even if you choose the best dental implant brand in the world, the way the doctor applies the dental treatment plays a more important role in determining the success of the dental treatment. According to research by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the rate of successful treatment application in dental implants is 95%. However, among the most important factors for the success of dental implants after treatment, dental hygiene and bone structure come before the dental implant brand. Again, according to AAID research, dental implant treatment is positioned as healthier and longer-lasting compared to bridge and prosthesis treatments.

What are the advantages of choosing dental implant brands that are popular in the world?

Different dental implants are popular in every region of the world. The main reason for this is seen as taxation and import procedures in the field of health. For example, a dental implant from Straumann Group is sold for 350 GBP in India and 400 GBP in the People’s Republic of China, while it is sold for 450 GBP in Turkey with options including hotels and much higher quality patient care procedures. The prices of dental implants vary from country to country, causing people to experience confusion when choosing a suitable dental implant clinic. Brand names matter less than the engineering behind them — our guide to the quality parameters of a dental implant explains what actually separates premium systems. Check out these two articles on why you should choose dental implant treatment in Turkey and whether it is safe to have dental implants in Turkey.

Why should I choose dental implant brands that are popular in the world?

  • To easily reach a dental implant company in the future when a problem occurs
  • To avoid manufacturers with cheap materials and insufficient inspection
  • To avoid supply problems in parts such as abutments and caps during the aftercare process or the second part of the treatment
  • To easily continue treatment with other doctors even if the doctor or dental clinic you are treating stops providing service
  • To benefit from strong lifetime warranty procedures

What are the most popular dental implant brands in the world?

  1. Straumann Dental Implants
  2. Dentsply Sirona Implants
  3. Nobel Biocare Dental implants
  4. Hiossen Dental implants
  5. Astra Tech dental implants
While compiling the list of the most popular dental implant brands in the world, we used sales figures data from platforms such as Researchgate and Statista.

What are the most popular dental implant brands in Turkey?

  1. Straumann Dental Implants
  2. Dentsply Sirona Implants
  3. Nobel Biocare Dental implants
  4. Hiossen Dental implants
  5. Astra Tech dental implants
The reason why the ranking of the most popular dental implant brands in Turkey and the world is the same is because Turkey is the country with the most dental implants in the world. The reason for this is that Turkey offers dental implant treatment to people from all over the world. Dental implant prices in Turkey are very affordable compared to other countries for this reason.

What factors determine the popularity of a dental implant?

The popularity of a dental implant does not mean that it is the best dental implant brand. However, it would not be wrong to say that popular brands are currently the best dental implant brands in the world. Implant brands such as Straumann and Nobel Biocare provide a lot of support to both doctors and patients in the aftercare process. For this reason, patients prefer the world’s best-selling implant brands instead of choosing less-sold implant brands for small price differences. What does a dentist pay attention to when choosing a dental implant?
  • Dentists prioritize custom implant preferences, meaning if they have a preference for a thin palate or a dentate bone that requires strong torque, they choose implants from some implant brands that are custom-made for unique cases
  • Check for component support
  • Prefer if the dental implant has been in use for a long time
  • Check if it has been tested by independent academic institutions
  • Check if there are sufficient training procedures and courses
  • Prefer if it supports digital dentistry methods
  • Prefer to work with a dental implant that has high brand awareness

5.  How long does a root canal last?
  • The good news is that if taken care of properly with a filling and a crown, a root canal can easily last over twenty years. That’s right–over 20+ years (2). The success rate for the procedure is well at about 95%.

In recent years, when tourism is mentioned, dental tourism, which is the most important component of health tourism, comes to mind. Dental tourism is a very good solution for those who want to have dental treatment outside their own country at more affordable prices and with high quality service. There are multiple advantages to receiving dental treatment abroad, considering cost-effectiveness, access to advanced dental technologies, and the opportunity to combine medical needs with tourism. Patients note the significant cost savings, which can often be up to 70% less compared to Western countries. The appeal of experiencing new cultures and environments as part of the healing process, and the fact that dental tourism offers a unique way to blend healthcare with entertainment, answers the question of why you should go abroad for new teeth.

Explore Your Options: Which Country is the Best Choice for Dental Treatments?

Dental tourism has become very popular these days for those looking for quality dental care at affordable prices. The main factors that influence a patient’s decision to receive dental treatment abroad are cost, quality of care and travel experience. The best destinations for dental treatments are Thailand, Hungary, Mexico and Turkey. Türkiye stands out in terms of offering comprehensive packages, especially including flights, transfers, accommodation and dental treatments. Turkish dental clinics are equipped with the latest technologies and dentists are highly trained and often have qualifications similar to those in Europe or the United States. Choosing the best country for dental treatment abroad largely depends on personal needs, specific treatments required, and budget. But while these countries offer the opportunity to explore new cultures, they show that high-quality dental care can be both accessible and affordable.

Smile Brighter, Spend Less: Foreign Dental Jobs Cost Comparisons

Many European countries, more people are exploring the option of receiving dental treatment abroad. Procedures in countries like India can cost as little as one-tenth of what they do in the United States or the United Kingdom . In Eastern European countries such as Poland and the Czech Republic, the cost of crowns, implants , and even full dental surgeries is significantly lower than in Western Europe. Clinics in these countries generally meet international standards, have advanced technology and highly qualified dentists, and offer high- quality services while being affordable. Latin America is budget-friendly, especially in countries like Costa Rica and Mexico. These countries offer quality treatments at much lower prices than those in the United States or Canada. The cost of a full dental implant in Mexico is approximately $1,200, while the same procedure costs between $3,000 and $5,000 in the United States. Countries such as Thailand, Vietnam and Turkey have become hotspots for dental tourists, offering a mix of low-cost treatments and attractive tourist destinations . These countries offer dental services with savings of up to 70% after travel and accommodation expenses are included . Dental services abroad not only provide significant cost savings , but also offer the chance to receive quality dental care services in a location where you can have a holiday. The worldwide popularity of dental tourism continues to increase day by day for these reasons.

Benefits of Traveling Abroad for Quality, Affordable Dental Care

Commonly known as dental tourism, this practice offers numerous benefits beyond dental care. First, the quality of dental care offered in popular dental tourism destinations is often equal, if not superior, to services in the traveler’s home country. Countries such as South Korea, Spain, Brazil and Turkey have invested heavily in their healthcare infrastructure and have globally trained and highly skilled dentists who use the latest technologies and techniques. This high standard of dental care services ensures that patients receive the best possible treatments, from routine check-ups to complex surgeries and cosmetic dentistry. Cost is an important factor for many people considering receiving dental care services abroad. The cost of treatments in countries such as India, Thailand, Hungary and Turkey is 50% to 80% lower than in the USA or Western Europe, without sacrificing quality. The opportunity to combine dental care with tourism is also a unique advantage. In addition, thanks to planned treatments, patients receive service in a short time without waiting in line. Dental tourism is especially attractive for patients coming from countries such as Canada or the United Kingdom, where waiting times for dental care services can be long.

Global Smiles: Why Are More People Choosing to Get Dental Treatment Abroad?

Cost savings can be said as the most important answer to the question ” Why Are More People Choosing to Receive Dental Treatment Abroad?” Dental procedures abroad can often be obtained at a fraction of the cost compared to North America and Western Europe. The quality of Dental Care Services is another important factor. Many countries popular for dental tourism host internationally accredited facilities that comply with global standards . These clinics are equipped with the latest technology and are usually staffed by experts with international training and certifications. Countries such as Thailand, Mexico and especially Turkey are at the forefront of providing a comfortable and reassuring experience for international patients by combining excellent dental care with hospitality. The desire of patients to turn their dental treatment processes into long holidays is also important. This not only provides an enjoyable holiday but also helps the patient’s recovery process by providing a stress-free environment. Finally, accessibility plays a very important role. With the increase in global connectivity, traveling abroad has become more possible. Many dental tourism destinations are now connected by direct flights from major cities around the world, reducing the inconvenience of long travel times. Comprehensive Dental Tourism Guide: Choosing the Right Destination for Your Needs Dental tourism has become a viable option for many people seeking affordable and high-quality dental care outside their home countries. However, choosing the right destination requires careful consideration of various factors to ensure a successful experience.

  1. Assess Treatment Quality and Accreditation: The most important consideration should be the quality of dental care. Dental clinics comply with international health standards and It is also necessary to investigate whether it has the necessary accreditations such as Joint Commission International (JCI). Many countries, especially Turkey, are famous for their high standards and innovative dentistry practices.
  2. Evaluate the Costs: Cost is one of the most important criteria for tourists who will receive dental services abroad . Total costs need to be compared, including services , travel expenses, accommodation and possible follow-up treatments . Destinations such as Turkey, which offer treatments well below the costs in the USA or Western Europe, without sacrificing quality, should be preferred.
  3. Consider Proximity and Accessibility: Choose a destination that is easily accessible from your home country . This is especially important when follow-up visits are required after treatment. Proximity also reduces travel fatigue and costs.
  4. Check Language and Cultural Compatibility: Make sure you are comfortable with the language and culture of your destination. Many leading dental tourism destinations have multilingual staff to assist international patients, making communication smoother and the overall experience more comfortable.
  5. Look for All -Inclusive Packages: Some countries offer dental packages that include accommodation, transportation, and tourism activities, making the logistics aspect of your trip much easier. These are especially attractive for those who want to combine dental care with a holiday.
destination that not only meets your dental needs but also offers an enjoyable and stress-free experience . The goal of dental tourism is not only to save money but also to ensure that patients receive the best possible care in an environment that will improve their overall well-being.

Jack Fincham’s Teeth Gone Wrong

Jack Fincham had some more trouble with his “perfect aesthetic smile” after some time. We do not know whether it was due to the lack of structural integrity of the material that was used for his crowns or problems with the laboratory, the actual problem is unknown, but he had a crack on his front tooth. Even though he had problems getting his dental treatment in Turkey, Jack Fincham has no prejudice against “Turkey Teeth”. Jack Fincham only wants people to do their research before coming to Turkey to get their teeth done. After long research, Jack found us, Dentafly Dental Implant and Smile Studio, to get his teeth fixed.  Even though it was a small and thin crack, it was still overwhelming for the star of Love Island. Regardless of your budget, you are spending money to have the teeth you have desired for many years and you are not expecting a result that is anything but satisfactory.

How did Jack Fincham’s teeth fixed?

Everyone knows the star of the show “Love Island” Jack Charles Fincham and his perfectly aesthetic smile. Unfortunately, he had some bad experiences before having his perfect “million dollar smile”. Jack Charles Fincham learned the awful truth about not doing research unfortunately, but in the end he was happy with his teeth.  Jack Charles Fincham said to the Sun that he had no problem with his teeth and also he had veneers already on his front teeth. The reason why he had veneers is that he knocked his own teeth out while he was skiing as a kid. In order to renew his veneers, he came to Turkey. His mum is a dental nurse so he states that he knows approximately how much the price of his dental treatment can be. That is one of the reasons why he chose Turkey to get his teeth done. This is where the problem started because he did not do extensive research about the dental clinic that he had chosen.

What Has Happened to Jack Fincham?

Jack Charles Fincham says to the Sun that he was quite happy with his teeth before entering the Love Island villa. Even though his looks were stunning, there were still big problems from the beginning and more to come soon. He was a part of BBC Three documentary Turkey Teeth: Bargain Smiles or Big Mistake to talk about his experience during his dental treatment process. He shows to the world the shocking truth about his teeth. Jack Fincham had to go through this experience due to the fact that the lack of experienced dentists and insufficient laboratory equipment as well as “inexperienced” laboratory technicians. Jack Fincham showed the world his teeth, or what has left of after the preparation. Everyone was shocked after seeing that almost %80 of his teeth were gone in order to place the crowns. He admits to the crows that he would have done his research if he could have done it again.

Jack Fincham’s Teeth Fixed in Turkey

While Jack Charles Fincham was in Antalya, we had a chance to talk about his previous experience with his previous teeth that he got years ago. As he has talked to the Sun, Daily Mail, and BBC, he was happy with the result until they cracked. In a parallel universe that his tooth did not crack, he still would be unhappy for the fact that his teeth were shaved down to “points”.

Since he was happy with his old teeth and his old teeth were not crooked or he had bad biting position and/or occlusion, his teeth should not have been shaved down this much as we have explained to him. His teeth were shaved down if it is like we are in the 2005 dentistry technology era. With the Digital Dentistry equipment such as Ivoclar PM7 CAD/CAM machines, EXOCAD digital design programme, and Ivoclar’s revolutionary material Monolithic Glass-Ceramic Zirconia veneers, he would have the perfect aesthetic smile with minimum preparation.

It was unfair for Jack Fincham to be told veneers but they have ended up doing the preparation for crowns and the crowns zirconia rather than emax. Unfortunately, there are many clinics that make false advertisements. When the patient arrives at the clinic, they are saying during the first consultation that their teeth are not fit for the emax veneers so they should do zirconia crowns instead. The reason behind this is simple:

  • Lack of knowledge of the laboratory technicians that
    • Cannot prepare thin veneers (1mm thickness)
  • Lack of instrument in their laboratory or the laboratory they are working with
  • Poor skilled dentists that
    • Cannot perform minimum preparation
    • Have never done minimum preparation before and afraid to try
Especially, if the laboratory does not have the Digital Dentistry equipment that is indispensable for emax veneer smile makeover, it is impossible and unnecessary to try to offer and/or try to prepare minimum preparation.

Cost of Straightening Your Teeth Like Jack: Apply Now

Jack Fincham has had dental veneers and dental implants to achieve healthy and aesthetic teeth. A full mouth veneer like this costs around £5000. Please fill out the contact form to receive a quote specific to your situation.

Future of Jack Fincham’s Dental Treatment

Jack Fincham talked about getting his full mouth done and asked us about the Full Mouth Dental Implant Packages Deals that we offer. After checking his 2D Panoramic OPG X-Ray and 3D X-Ray, we saw that he needs no such dental treatment in the near future. His jawbone and the roots of his teeth are strong. He will need implants to fill the gaps and that is it. Of course, we could do simple bridge work but that means that after some years pass, the bone quality, the bone density, the bone length, and the bone width will decrease and the sinus gap will hang down. Basically, his body will absorb the jawbone. The reason is basically, there are no teeth for the bone to regenerate itself regularly. Since he has no tooth in that location, his jawbone will not bother regenerating itself and he will lose his jawbone in that area.  That is why we have done X-Guide dental implant operation for Jack Fincham. With the X-Guide dental implant system, we are able to complete the treatment “flapless”. Flapless dental implant placement means that the tissues do not receive any unnecessary trauma and the speed of healing increases compared to a dental implant surgeon placing an implant. We are uploading the 3D X-Ray file to the X-Guide and the X-Guide handles everything else itself.

Celebrity Choice: Jack Fincham decided on Straumann

Jack Fincham wanted to go with Switzerland made Straumann Group Quattrocone dental implant among American made Hiossen ET NH, or Switzerland made Nobel Biocare dental implants that we offer. The Straumann Group Quattrocone dental implant offers:

  • Conical design and a progressive micro-macro thread ensure above average primary stability
  • The highly pure, Sand-blasted and acid-etched surface is reliable for long-term osseointegration of the implant
  • Highest compatibility rate with X-Guide dental implant system
Jack Fincham made the correct choice and went with Quattrocone. Straumann Group Quattrocone checks all the marks of the quality parameters of a dental implant and it is being manufactured by one of the best dental implant manufacturers in the world. Jack says he researched and went to different clinics to decide the best dental implant in his treatment. He mentioned that his alumni mostly had Straumann dental implants.

Does boxing affect dental implant health?

Jack Fincham, the winner of the Love Island villa, had an exhibition fight against Anthony Taylor. Jack Fincham’s teeth were hanging on to the punches he received and gave. Using the right equipment and with the help of Digital Dentistry, his teeth were made perfectly. When we compare Jack Fincham’s previous teeth with the teeth we made, we can say that if Digital Dentistry is used correctly, there will be no problems and our patients will not have any problems drinking water from a bottle. It is wondered why Jack Fincham is at the forefront when it comes to celebrity teeth. After the Love Island competition, Jack participated in boxing tournaments and was interested in amateur boxing. For this reason, the fact that his teeth were not damaged made the issue of having teeth fixed more popular among people. Even after a traumatising day, Jack Fincham still has his million dollar smile. We checked with him after the fight and he was still happy and had no issues regarding his teeth.

Dental Care of a Celebrity

Jack Fincham has a good habit of taking good care of his teeth, even though he knocked one out when he was a kid. He was not being lazy at any time of the day to take care of his teeth. Since his mother is a dental nurse, he was taught from youth to have such a habit for his future comfort. This explains why their teeth looked good even before they became famous. Most celebrities have the so-called Hollywood smile, but those who took good care of their teeth during childhood have great results, like Jack Fincham’s. He was quite curious to learn more about dental veneer care if there was something that he was missing. Since he has Monolithic Glass-Ceramic Zirconia veneers, he wanted to make sure to keep his perfect aesthetic smile forever. The solution is simple, good dental care.  We have gone over the basics with Jack Fincham to renew his knowledge for the future. The basics of the dental care especially for the veneers are:

  • Good oral hygiene habits
  • Avoiding hard food
  • Regular brushing
  • Rinsing
  • Using night guard
    • If the patient has grinding problem
  • Using appropriate toothpaste
  • Avoiding abrasive dental products
  • Only follow the dentist’s recommendation
    • Do not attempt any DIY dental care products or methods

Dental Implant Care: Jack Ficham’s Opinion

Since it was his first dental implant treatment, he was unsure about how to take good care of his dental implant for the implant to heal quickly and safely. It is not very different from taking care of your teeth or crowns or veneers, in general mouth care will suffice in most cases.  On top of the dental care methods we have mentioned above, if Jack Fincham and everyone else uses a waterpik, Oral B OxiJet if possible, will solve any problem that may occur in the future. In terms of cleaning, it is much better than any other products and it is much more efficient compared to a toothbrush or a floss.

Dental implant and veneer Guarantee

This is one of the topics that led Jack Charles Fincham to choose Dentafly Dental Implant and Smile Studio. There are no “rules” or “ must” to provide guarantee by the dental clinics/hospitals in the world. This is more about dental clinics/hospitals’ trust and confidence towards the materials that they use for the veneers/crowns. Not every dental clinic/hospital will be able to provide such a guarantee against anything and if you take into consideration that if the clinic is working under the term “health tourism” it will make their job even harder.  We have full confidence towards the crowns/veneers that we produce, we are providing our patients with up to 8 years of guarantee. Every one of our patients receive a Guarantee/Certificate card depending on the dental crown block that they have chosen to go with. We are working with Straumann and Ivoclar Monolithic Glass-Ceramic Zirconia blocks.  We do not provide any sort of guarantee for the dental implant that we place for our patients. The guarantee for the dental implants are provided directly from the manufacturer. The guarantee for the dental implants is lifetime and they are valid internationally. The dental implant manufacturers that we work with are:

  • Straumann BLX
  • Straumann Group
  • Hiossen ET NH
  • Nobel Biocare

E.max Laminate Veneer Aftercare: How to Keep Your Veneers for Years

E.max laminate veneers need the same daily routine as natural teeth, plus three habits that make the difference over a decade: a soft brush used gently, a water flosser to clear the margins where the veneer meets the tooth, and a non-abrasive toothpaste with no baking soda. Avoid biting hard or sticky food directly with the front teeth, wear a nightguard if you grind, and keep one dental check-up a year. Follow those and a well-bonded e.max veneer holds its shape and shade for ten to fifteen years.

Laminate veneers are thin and bonded only to the front surface of the tooth, which is exactly what makes them conservative and exactly why aftercare matters more than it does for a crown. This guide covers the daily routine, the products to avoid, what your dentist checks each year, and the honest limits of the material. For treatment detail see our e.max laminate veneers page, and for pricing our e.max veneers cost guide.

Your Daily Routine After E.max Veneers

Nothing exotic is required and no extra products beyond a brush, paste, floss or a water flosser. The change is in technique rather than in effort.

  • Brush twice a day with a soft brush. Hard bristles and heavy pressure scratch the glaze on the veneer and wear the enamel of your natural teeth just as fast.
  • Clean between the teeth every day. Floss or, better for veneers, a water flosser. The margin where the veneer meets the tooth is where plaque gathers, and it is the one place a brush reaches poorly.
  • Brush after sugary or acidic food. Bacteria feed on what is left behind, and gum inflammation at the margin is the most common reason a good veneer case looks tired after five years.
  • Rinse when you cannot brush. Water alone clears most surface deposits from coffee, tea and red wine.
  • Wear a nightguard if you grind. Bruxism is the single biggest mechanical risk to a laminate veneer, and a guard costs a fraction of a replacement.

What to Avoid

Abrasive and whitening toothpaste

The surface of an e.max veneer is glass ceramic. It is not fragile in the way glass is, but it carries a glaze that produces its translucency, and abrasive pastes dull that glaze over time. Pastes high in bicarbonate of soda are the main offender, along with charcoal powders and any product sold as a stain eraser. Choose a gel-based, non-abrasive paste; your dentist will name a brand that suits your case.

Biting hard and sticky food with the front teeth

A laminate is bonded to the front surface only, so it handles chewing forces well but tolerates sharp point loads less. Ice, nut shells, pen tops, fingernails and crusty bread bitten straight on are the everyday risks. Sticky food carries a second problem: it packs into the margins and is difficult to clear without proper cleaning afterwards.

Home whitening experiments

Ceramic does not respond to whitening gel, so hydrogen peroxide strips and baking soda pastes cannot lighten a veneer. What they can do is roughen the glaze and irritate the gum. If your veneers look duller than you remember, the answer is a professional polish at a review appointment, not a home remedy.

Staining, Colour and What the Material Actually Does

E.max lithium disilicate is highly stain resistant. Coffee, tea, red wine and dark food leave surface deposits that brushing or rinsing removes; they do not soak into the ceramic the way they stain natural enamel or older composite. That resistance is real, but it is not absolute: a scratched or heavily worn glaze holds deposits more readily, which is the practical reason abrasive products matter.

Two related points patients ask about often. First, a veneer cannot be whitened once it is bonded, so the shade you approve at the design stage is the shade you keep. Second, your untreated natural teeth do change colour over the years, so if only your front teeth are veneered, ask your dentist about whitening the rest before the final shade is chosen.

Can E.max Veneers Come Off?

Debonding is uncommon and almost always traceable to one of three things: a bite that loads the veneer at the wrong angle, a bonding surface that was contaminated during cementation, or trauma. Two factors protect against it. The restoration is designed and milled by CAD/CAM so the fit at the margin is precise, and the cement is chosen for lithium disilicate rather than used as a universal product.

If a veneer does come off, keep it, avoid using that tooth and contact us. In most cases the same veneer is re-bonded. Within the warranty period, replacement is covered, and UK patients are seen at our London clinic in NW9 rather than sent to a practice with no record of the case.

Who Suits Laminate Veneers and Who Does Not

E.max as a material suits almost everyone. Laminate veneers specifically do not, and the deciding factor is the bite. Where the teeth meet incorrectly, a thin laminate bonded to the front surface cannot correct the relationship and sits under loads it was not designed for. The four patterns that usually rule out laminates are:

  1. Overbite
  2. Underbite
  3. Crossbite
  4. Open bite

In those cases the honest options are full veneers in the same e.max material, which are prepared on every axis and therefore tolerate any bite pattern, or orthodontic alignment first. Significantly crooked teeth need more preparation than a laminate allows, for the same reason. Your CBCT and 3D simulation settle which route your case needs before anything is prepared.

What Your Annual Check-Up Covers

One appointment a year is enough for most veneer patients, twice yearly if you have a history of gum disease. The visit is short and covers five things: margin integrity at each veneer, gum health measured by bleeding on probing, bite and contact points, a professional polish with ceramic-safe instruments, and a photographic comparison against your post-treatment baseline. Catching a margin issue at this stage is a polish; catching it three years later is a replacement.

Dentafly patients have this review at our London clinic in NW9. Between visits, the running cost of veneer maintenance is the same as caring for natural teeth: a brush, paste, floss or a water flosser, plus the check-up fee. UK check-ups typically run £50 to £300 a year depending on whether hygiene treatment is included.

Five Rules After Your E.max Treatment

  1. Book a check-up one year after treatment, and keep it annual thereafter.
  2. Follow the hygiene routine your dentist set for your specific case.
  3. Report any colour change, chip or sensitivity as soon as you notice it.
  4. Use a mouthwash daily, alcohol-free if your gums are sensitive.
  5. Go easy on heavily coloured food and drink in the first 48 hours after bonding, while the cement reaches full strength.

E.max Veneer Aftercare: Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use an electric toothbrush on e.max veneers?

Yes, with a soft head and no added pressure. Modern electric brushes with a pressure sensor are a good choice because they stop you scrubbing, which is the actual risk to the glaze.

Do e.max veneers stain from coffee or red wine?

The ceramic itself is highly stain resistant, so deposits sit on the surface rather than soaking in and come away with brushing or rinsing. Abrasive pastes that dull the glaze make surface staining more likely over time, which is why they are worth avoiding.

Can veneers be whitened later if they look duller?

No. Whitening gel works on natural tooth structure, not ceramic. A professional polish restores surface shine, but the shade of the veneer is fixed at the design stage, which is why the shade preview before preparation matters.

How long do e.max laminate veneers last?

Ten to fifteen years is the realistic range with good hygiene and a stable bite. Grinding shortens it, and untreated gum disease shortens it faster than anything else.

What should I do if a veneer chips or comes off?

Keep the piece, avoid chewing on that side and contact us the same day. Most debonded veneers are re-bonded rather than remade. UK patients are seen at our London NW9 clinic, and replacement is covered within the warranty period.

Tom Cruise’s teeth cost is around £30,000. Tom Cruise got his teeth fixed in a month. Find out how much celebrities spend to get their teeth fixed. What is not a lie is that Tom Cruise deserves every penny he receives. He is a part of one of the longest series, Mission Impossible, and the reason is because he does every stun. This helps the film because there is less CGI. A film with a high amount of CGI will look fake and take less attention. We will get to know Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise’s teeth, and how much Tom Cruise’s teeth cost after.

Being an actor and an actress is not easy. Sometimes they get to work long hours for months and they have to do everything perfectly so that they can finish early or as planned. Sometimes, they have to do weird stuns or weird scenes that are hard to do even for the best actors. It is not a lie that actors, especially Hollywood actors get paid a lot.

Tom Cruise’s Teeth Timeline

Tom Cruise’s teeth around 1982s

Tom Cruise was 20 years old when he started acting. If you think about it, he is 61 now so he has been in Hollywood for quite a long time. Does that make you feel old? Back then, Tom Cruise had treatments for alignment and teeth whitening. His teeth were not only misaligned, asymmetric, and crooked but discoloured as well. Unfortunately, his genetics were not as good as his acting skills.

Tom Cruise’s teeth around 2002

Handsome Hollywood’s star actor was with Nicole Kidman. He was doing an amazing job at acting. He was taking roles in diverse films, whether it is action, romantic, or both. Whether it was the split up between 2 Hollywood stars or not, he started wearing braces after the two of the Hollywood stars broke up.

The braces he had were ceramic. They were invisible so that he could have the Hollywood Smile Desing teeth that he has right now. With the help of ceramic braces, he was able to continue, without letting anyone know or break his look on the TV and cinema screen.

Tom Cruise’s teeth around 2010

As the handsome Hollywood star joined red carpet events, people started to realise the change from up close. His smile has improved a lot, especially since the time he removed the cap for the film The Outsiders.

Tom Cruise’s teeth around 2010

Just like around 2010, he was showing himself at the red carpet events with his new smile. Even though there was asymmetry, it still looked much better since his first films.

Tom Cruise’s Hollywood Smile Design: Did he get Veneers?

Indeed, Tom Cruise possesses dental veneers. The actor chose to undergo veneer treatment to address chipped teeth that occurred during the filming of “The Outsiders” in 1983. Veneers serve as overlays applied to the front of the teeth, serving a cosmetic purpose to restore the aesthetic function of the teeth. Furthermore, veneers have the capability to enhance the size, shape, and symmetry of teeth, resulting in a smile that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also harmoniously proportioned.

Tom Cruise’s veneers are meticulously crafted to harmonize with the colour, shape, and size of his existing teeth, ensuring a natural and seamless appearance. The process of placing veneers involves the delicate procedure of grinding down the upper layer of tooth enamel. Subsequently, the veneers are affixed in the location where the tooth enamel has been gently modified. The outcome is a robust and enduring solution that significantly enhances the overall visual appeal of the teeth.

Contrary to speculations, Tom Cruise’s veneers do not compromise the authenticity of his smile. Many individuals are taken aback upon learning that he has veneers, given their remarkably natural and flawless appearance.

Tom Cruise’s smile design was completed and the fans were all shocked. His smile has become as good as his acting now. His middle incisor tooth was still a bit bigger than the right one but you would have to be crazy to realise that and to say something after everything. For this reason, when it comes to celebrities’ teeth, Tom Cruise’s unique transformation comes to mind.

How much did Tom Cruise pay for his teeth?

Tom Cruise’s journey to achieving impeccable teeth mirrored his ascent to fame and perfection in his career. He underwent dental correction in the early 2000s when the available technologies were not as advanced as they are today. Presently, not only are there more modern and convenient options for cosmetic dentistry, but there are also affordable avenues to enhance your smile. While Tom Cruise might have invested significantly in perfecting his teeth, correcting more complex dental issues can be achieved for a modest amount. An example is the Hollywood Smile in Turkey, where high-quality dental treatments can be obtained at a remarkably reasonable cost, especially at the renowned dentistry centre in Antalya/Turkey at Dentafly Dental Implant and Smile Studio.

Tom Cruise paid approximately $30.000 but you can get it done with a fraction of what Tom Cruise paid.

You can check Tom Cruise’s Before and After teeth here. You can see Tom Cruise’s teeth before and after they were done here. These images are proof of why Tom Cruise’s teeth are the most remembered name when it comes to showing the change in celebrities’ teeth.

What Was Wrong with Tom Cruise’s Smile?

Tom Cruise came to the Hollywood movie industry in the early 1980s. Back then, his smile was not how it is now or even close. His teeth were crooked, misaligned, and was not looking natural at all. It would be acceptable but his top incisor was coming to the front and to the middle which is not ideal for the golden ratio.

Since Hollywood wanted to have perfect-looking actors and actresses for their shows, he was not quite a good fit. Regardless of Tom Cruise’s lack of smile design, he was receiving roles to play because he was a good actor, and still is.

The actor has always been open about proudly displaying his imperfect smile. In 1983, he willingly took off the cap from his front tooth, which had been chipped by a flying puck during a hockey match, to better suit the requirements of a role.

Tom Cruise underwent some extensive dental treatment to have the Hollywood Smile Design that he has now. Even though he had paid a lot for his treatment and it took quite a while to complete his dental treatment, he still has a little asymmetry on the front side of his teeth. We will go deeper into analysing Tom Cruise’s teeth change from asymmetrical and crooked to little asymmetrical and smile design.

Who is Tom Cruise?

Tom Cruise stands out as one of the top action stars in Hollywood, showcasing genuine courage by personally engaging in daring and intense stunts. It’s truly remarkable how he fearlessly executes astonishing feats in his films, such as hanging from the side of an aeroplane, engaging in skydiving, and scaling the world’s tallest structure. Despite his outstanding acting prowess, fans have inevitably noticed a slightly misaligned tooth in Tom’s smile. Recognizing the significance of a captivating smile, Tom Cruise has diligently worked towards achieving an impressive transformation. Witnessing the before-and-after results of Tom Cruise’s dental procedure will surely leave you amazed.

Tom Cruise’s most famous dental moments on screen

1. The Outsiders (1983) – The “Real” Broken Tooth In a rare display of commitment to a role, a young Tom Cruise voluntarily removed the dental cap from his front right incisor to play Steve Randle. This scene offers the only high-definition look at his natural tooth structure before his major Hollywood dental transformations. It serves as the definitive “before” image for any dental analysis.

2. Top Gun (1986) – The Pre-Orthodontic Smile Before he became the face of perfection, Cruise’s smile in the original Top Gun was charmingly imperfect. Scenes in the bar reveal his teeth were slightly misaligned and crowded. This era captures the natural state of his smile before he opted for invisible braces in his 40s to correct his bite.

3. Interview with the Vampire (1994) – The Prosthetic Transformation For the role of Lestat, Cruise’s smile was radically altered using theatrical prosthetics. The scene where he laughs maniacally or bears his fangs demonstrates how makeup effects were used to create a jagged, predatory look, contrasting sharply with his usual pristine appearance.

4. Jerry Maguire (1996) – The “Middle Tooth” Revelation This film contains the most famous evidence of Cruise’s “midline discrepancy.” During the iconic “Show me the money!” shouting scene, his upper lip rises high, revealing that his right central incisor aligns perfectly with the center of his nose. This asymmetry creates the famous optical illusion of a single “middle tooth.”

5. Tropic Thunder (2008) – The Les Grossman Look Cruise donned massive, oversized dental veneers to play the sleazy studio executive Les Grossman. The dance scenes feature these exaggerated teeth prominently, showcasing how dental prosthetics can completely change the structure of a face for a comedic effect.

6. Top Gun: Maverick (2022) – The Modern Masterpiece Decades later, reprising his role as Maverick, Cruise displays the pinnacle of cosmetic dentistry. His smile is now perfectly symmetrical, blindingly white, and uniform. Comparing this to the 1986 film offers the ultimate “Then vs. Now” perspective on the evolution of celebrity dental aesthetics.

  • Making better diagnostic
    • A small decay on the patient’s tooth can be zoomed to be seen better in an enhanced quality for better diagnosis

Here at Dentafly Dental Implant and Smile Studio in Antalya/Turkey, we are specifically working with the 3Shape brand. 3Shape is a computer system incorporating cutting-edge CAD-CAM technology. Using special cameras, the condition of the tooth to be restored is checked and measurements are taken, and the data acquired is then transferred to the 3D digital environment. Our dentists will then create a dental design digitally according to the patient’s wishes. Utilising the 3Shape system, it is possible to create a lasting, new smile quickly. The most advanced example of this shift is robotic dental implant surgery in Turkey, where guided systems place implants with sub-millimetre accuracy.

Digital X-ray Systems

Digital X-Ray Systems are indispensable when it comes to dental treatments and diagnosis to create suiting dental treatment plans. A naked eye can see so far. Digital X-Ray Systems are a dentist’s radar to find where the problem is located.

A 2D Panoramic X-Ray will provide to the examination dentist and the dental implants surgeon weather or not:

  • the patient has a cavity,
  • The patient needs a root canal treatment,
  • The patient is experiencing a bone loss,
  • The patient is experiencing a hanging sinus gap,
  • The teeth of the patient are being held by the jawbone strongly.

All of these will help the dentist and the dental implant surgeon to create a fitting and healthy plan. The created plan will be carried out as the dental treatment of the patient. The 2D Panoramic X-Ray will be used before dental treatment of the patient, which is consultation, and during the dental treatment.

A Digital 3D X-ray can provide the examination dentist and the dental implant surgeon with extra information that a 2D Panoramic X-Ray cannot. These can be used for:

  • Orthodontic procedures
  • Planning dental implant placement for the damaged teeth
  • Diagnosis of the temporomandibular joint dysfunction
  • Finding the strong slice of the bone for placement of the implant(s)
  • Locating the origin of pain or a disease
  • Finding, measuring, and treating jaw bone tumours
  • Collecting data for the bone structure and health
  • Reconstructive surgery for the jaw and dental implants
  • Planning for root canal treatment, sinus lift, and bone graft

A 3D X-ray is much more efficient compared to the 2D Panoramic X-Ray. A 3D X-Ray can provide:

  • Versatile imaging system
  • 3D interactive image
  • Advanced measurement system of the
    • Jawbone density
    • Jawbone length
    • Jawbone width
    • Jawbone quality

All these measurements are necessary are to decide the best fitting dental implant size

  • Measuring whether or not the patient will need a sinus lift
    • A sinus lift can be a “closed” or “open” depending on the amount of sinus is hanged and/or the level of bone loss
  • Nerve canals of the patient can be seen better to avoid during dental implant placement.
  • Better visual and measuring the size of:
    • Infection
    • Cyst
    • Root
    • Bone

With the usage of Digital Imaging Systems, the dentists are able to easily:

  • Diagnose
  • Explain to the patient, and
  • Execute the dental treatment

The Digital Imaging Systems are reducing the risk of any failure possibility of the dental treatment that is going to be carried out for the patient.

CAD/CAM Dentistry

CAD/CAM technology was introduced to dentistry toward the late 20th century. With the advancements in general technology, Computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) have revolutionised the field of digital dentistry in recent years. These technologies allow dental professionals to design and manufacture custom dental restorations and prosthetics with greater accuracy and efficiency than ever before. CAD/CAM allows the dentists to provide accurate solutions to the patients with complex restorative requests or complex restorative problems.

How does dentafly uses digital dentistry?
digital dentistry usage

CAD/CAM technology in digital dentistry provides a range of benefits, including:

  1. Customization: CAD software allows dental professionals to create digital 3D models of dental restorations that are tailored to the individual patient’s mouth, rather than relying on pre-fabricated or “one size fits all” options. This leads to improved patient satisfaction and better long-term outcomes for dental treatments.
  2. Accuracy: By using 3D modelling and scanning technologies, dental professionals can create restorations with greater accuracy and precision than ever before. This can lead to better fitting restorations and fewer complications during treatment.
  3. Efficiency: CAD/CAM technology can significantly reduce the time and labour required to create dental restorations. It allows dental professionals to design and manufacture custom restorations quickly and easily, without the need for traditional hand-sculpting techniques.
  4. Versatility: CAD/CAM technology can be used to create a wide range of dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, implants, and more. It can also be used to create guides for implant placement and other procedures, helping to improve accuracy and reduce the risk of complications.
  5. Durability: Restorations created using CAD/CAM technology are typically made of durable materials such as porcelain, zirconia, or acrylic resin. This can help to ensure that they are long-lasting and able to withstand the rigours of everyday use.

One of the main benefits of CAD/CAM in digital dentistry is the ability to create precise and accurate restorations. Traditional dental restorations were often created using manual techniques, which were prone to errors and required multiple visits to the dentist. With CAD/CAM, the design and manufacturing process is streamlined, resulting in more accurate and efficient treatment.

CAD/CAM technologies are used in a variety of dental procedures, including crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and veneers. These technologies allow dentists to create highly accurate digital models of a patient’s mouth, which can then be used to design and fabricate custom dental restorations.

The patients will see that we are only working with the best dental implant manufacturers and best materials for smile makeover in Turkey.

How you can calculate cost of dental treatments in Turkey ?

Calculating the cost of dental treatments in Turkey, like in many other countries, involves considering various factors. Here’s a general guide on how you can estimate these costs:

1. Type of Dental Treatment
The cost primarily depends on the type of dental treatment you need. Common treatments include teeth whitening, veneers, crowns, implants, and other procedures. Each has its price range.

2. Clinic and Dentist’s Reputation
The choice of clinic and the dentist’s expertise can significantly affect the price. High-end clinics in major cities or those with highly reputable dentists tend to charge more.

3. Location of Dental Treatment
The cost can vary depending on the city or region in Turkey. Istanbul, Antalya might have higher prices compared to smaller cities or towns due to higher operational costs and demand.

4. Materials Used
The materials used for treatments (e.g., ceramic, porcelain, composite for veneers, or the type of dental implant) can impact the cost. Higher quality or branded materials usually come at a higher price.

5. Additional Procedures
Sometimes, additional procedures are necessary (e.g., bone graft for an implant, root canal before crowning), which can add to the total cost.

6. Insurance and Payment Plans
Whether or not you have dental insurance that covers treatment abroad can affect your out-of-pocket expenses. Some clinics offer payment plans which can ease the financial burden.

Steps to Calculate Cost:
1. Identify the Treatment Needed: Research or consult with a dentist to understand the specific treatment you need.
2. Get Quotes: Contact multiple clinics in Turkey for quotes. Many clinics offer online consultations and can provide estimates based on your case.
3. Ask for Detailed Breakdowns: Request a detailed cost breakdown for each aspect of your treatment plan, including any additional procedures that might be necessary.
4. Consider Travel Expenses: If you’re traveling from abroad, include travel, accommodation, and living expenses during your stay.
5. Insurance and Discounts: Check if any part of the treatment can be covered by insurance or if the clinic offers any discounts for international patients.

Online Tools and Resources
Some websites and online platforms specialize in medical tourism and can provide estimates for dental treatments in Turkey based on your specific needs. They can also offer reviews and ratings of clinics and dentists, which can help in making an informed decision.

Given the variability in individual cases and the dynamic nature of healthcare pricing, getting a direct consultation with the dental clinic remains the most accurate way to estimate costs. Dentafly launched an online All on Four Costs calculator tool for this reason. Patients can easily calculate their treatment costs in 2 steps.
