UK aftercare for dental implants is the question that decides where most British patients book their treatment. The Antalya treatment itself is straightforward: fly in, get implants, fly home. But what happens six months later when something feels off? What about the warranty if a screw loosens in 2030? Most Turkish dental clinics handle this through broker partnerships with independent UK dentists, which works imperfectly. Dentafly built a different answer, an owned UK aftercare clinic at 230 Church Lane, London NW9 8SN, staffed by GDC-registered dentists who work for Dentafly and hold direct access to your Antalya treatment records.
This page documents what UK aftercare actually means in practice: who the clinicians are and how to verify them, the daily operations, the warranty terms, the cost reality, and the structural reasons why an owned model produces different outcomes than the broker-network alternative.

What Makes Dentafly’s UK Aftercare Different
Most articles about Turkish dental clinic UK aftercare describe a standard model: you fly to Turkey for treatment, then if anything goes wrong your clinic refers you to a UK partner dentist who has signed a referral agreement. The partner dentist is not a clinic employee. They charge UK private rates. The original Turkish clinic reimburses some costs after submission and review.
This model is common across Turkish dental tourism. It works imperfectly. The friction shows up in three predictable ways: appointment delays because partner dentists prioritise their own patients, reimbursement processing that runs into weeks for routine claims, and treatment record gaps because partner dentists do not hold surgical notes from Antalya.
Dentafly built a different infrastructure. The London clinic at 230 Church Lane is an owned facility, not a partner agreement. The dentists working there are Dentafly clinicians registered with the UK General Dental Council, not referral contractors. They open every patient’s file directly, with surgical notes, radiographs, implant batch numbers and prosthesis specifications visible on the same system the Antalya team uses. The cost difference for patients is real: routine aftercare visits are included in the original Antalya treatment package.
When a UK patient sits in our London chair for their 6-month integration check, I open their file in real time and see the same CBCT scan and surgical notes the Antalya team used during placement. That continuity matters more than any marketing message. The patient is not explaining their case from scratch to an unfamiliar dentist. The treatment plan is one continuous document, just with different physical locations for different appointments.
Registrations You Can Verify Yourself
The question we are asked most is where our London partner practice is. There isn’t one.
Dentafly does not refer UK patients to a partner dentist. 230 Church Lane is our own clinic, with our own team, and the 44 seconds on the left is that team saying so in their own words.
A video is a claim, not proof. So here is the proof, in the form of public records you can open yourself, none of which Dentafly controls.
Check us before you trust us
Any clinic can claim a UK presence. Very few publish the numbers that let you check it independently. Every entry below can be verified on a public register that Dentafly does not control. If a competing clinic tells you they offer UK aftercare, ask them for the same list.
Two of these are worth explaining. GDC registration means a dentist is legally permitted to practise in the UK and is subject to UK professional standards and fitness-to-practise procedures. It is not the same thing as being licensed in Turkey. CQC registration means the premises themselves are on the English regulator’s register for the regulated activity of dental treatment. A clinic can employ a GDC-registered dentist without being a registered UK practice, so both matter, and both are public records.
One point of transparency about the CQC entry: our location is registered but has not yet been inspected, which the CQC states on our profile. The CQC also does not award star ratings to dental practices, so no dentist in England can show you one. We would rather explain that here than let the absence of a rating look like something it is not.
Dentafly vs Other Turkish Dental Clinics
This comparison matters because UK patients comparing Turkish dental clinics rarely see clear documentation of aftercare model differences. The marketing language is similar across providers, with phrases like UK aftercare available, follow-up support included and warranty covered, but the underlying operations differ significantly.
| Aftercare Feature | Typical Turkish Clinic | Dentafly |
|---|---|---|
| UK clinic ownership | Broker partnerships | Owned facility at NW9 8SN |
| Dentist employment | Independent UK contractors | Dentafly clinicians, GDC registered |
| Published GDC numbers | Rarely disclosed | 251293 and 263446, both verifiable |
| CQC registration for the UK site | Usually none, or not published | Location 1-19677644389 |
| UK company registration | Usually none | Vestadent Limited, 12993512 |
| Treatment record access | Partial, emailed summaries | Direct system access to all records |
| Routine appointment cost | UK private rates with reimbursement | Included in the Antalya package |
| Reimbursement processing | Weeks, after you pay upfront | Not applicable, no upfront payment |
| Appointment availability | Typically a multi-week wait | Same week, often same or next day |
| Emergency support | Variable, often delayed | Same-day or next-day for implant issues |
| Warranty claim coordination | Email based, multi-week | In-clinic assessment, immediate processing |
| Implant brand verification | Documentation may be missing | Full batch number access on file |
| Physical UK presence | Often pop-up or none | Permanent NW9 8SN clinic since 2023 |
Why competitors do not operate owned UK clinics
Operating an owned UK clinic requires substantial infrastructure: GDC-registered clinicians, CQC registration for the premises, a lease or purchase in greater London, permanent staff salaries at UK market rates, indemnity cover, and ongoing operational overhead. Most Turkish dental tourism clinics calculate this differently. The broker-network model has lower overhead and produces marketing language that sounds equivalent to UK patients during the booking decision.
The difference becomes apparent only after treatment, when an implant needs attention several years later and the patient discovers their broker partner has changed practices, retired, or no longer accepts the original clinic’s referrals. An owned operation protects against that drift because the structure is permanent.

Meet the London Team
The London clinic is staffed by dentists registered with the UK General Dental Council who work for Dentafly rather than under a referral contract. Their registration numbers are published below so you can check them on the GDC’s public register before your first appointment.
Marius Ghita
Clinical Lead, Dentafly London Clinic
GDC No. 251293Leads clinical care at 230 Church Lane, covering post-implant integration checks, radiographic monitoring, occlusion adjustment and warranty assessment. Works directly from the Antalya surgical records for every returning patient.
Erdal Eker
Dentist, Dentafly London Clinic
GDC No. 263446Graduated from the Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry in 2019, with a focus on implant-supported restorations and smile aesthetics. At the London clinic he handles routine aftercare, restorative work and consultations for patients considering treatment in Antalya. Speaks English and Turkish, which helps when a case needs discussing directly with the Antalya surgical team. Read his full profile.
Alongside the clinical team, an aftercare coordinator manages appointment scheduling, warranty documentation and communication between London and Antalya, and a dental nurse provides clinical support during procedures. UK patients see the same faces across appointments rather than rotating through a partner network, so when you call about a screw retightening or an uneven bite, you speak to someone who already knows your case.
Operating model
- Permanent staffing: the same team across all your UK visits, with no contractor rotation
- UK professional registration: treating dentists hold current GDC registration, published above
- Antalya integration: case review with the Antalya surgical team on the same working day where needed
- Record continuity: one patient file covering both sites, not two disconnected sets of notes
- Languages: English as primary, with Turkish available
You can also read about the surgical team who carry out treatment in Antalya on our dental team page.
What the London Clinic Actually Does
The London clinic handles four categories of work, covering different patient needs at different points in the treatment timeline.
1. Routine post-implant monitoring
This is the most common London visit. Patients return 6 months after Antalya treatment for integration verification, follow up at 12 months for an occlusion check, then continue with annual reviews. Each visit includes:
- Visual examination and gum health assessment
- Radiographic imaging when clinically indicated
- Implant stability testing
- Occlusion verification
- Hygiene cleaning
- Photographic documentation for the Antalya team
2. Warranty assessments
If you have a concern about your implants, the London clinic performs the warranty assessment in person rather than asking you to post radiographs or send photographs for remote review. Common assessments include screw loosening, a prosthetic chip or crack, abutment seating issues and minor occlusion adjustment. Most warranty issues are resolved in London without return travel to Antalya.
3. Emergency consultations
For acute issues such as pain, swelling or sudden mobility, the London clinic offers same-day or next-day appointments. The team triages by phone first to determine whether the issue needs a London assessment or immediate referral to urgent medical care. Most implant-related emergencies are non-urgent in the medical sense, meaning there is no airway compromise, but they still need prompt clinical review.
4. General dental services
Beyond aftercare, the London clinic sees new patients considering future Antalya treatment. This covers consultation, treatment planning, radiographic imaging and written treatment plan documentation that transfers directly to the Antalya team if you decide to proceed.
Warranty Claims and Processing
Dentafly warranty cover runs in three layers with different durations. Publishing them separately avoids the confusion caused by the phrase lifetime warranty, which in dentistry almost never applies to every component of a restoration.
| Component | What is covered | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Titanium implant fixture | Material failure of the fixture itself | Lifetime |
| Surgical placement | Failure of osseointegration | 5 years |
| Crowns, bridges, abutments | Material defects in the prosthetic work | 10 years |
How the warranty process works
If you suspect a warranty issue, call the London clinic on 020 3302 9290 or email [email protected]. The team books a London assessment, usually within 3 to 5 working days for routine claims and same day for urgent issues. During the assessment:
- The London dentist examines the implant or prosthetic component
- Radiographs document the current state for warranty validation
- The team verifies the original implant brand and batch number against your file
- The Antalya team confirms warranty validity, normally within the same working day
- Replacement components or repair work begin once cover is confirmed
What the warranty does not cover
Like all dental warranties, ours has limits. Damage from physical trauma, including contact sports without a mouthguard, neglect of basic hygiene, alteration of the prosthetic structure by an external dentist, and smoking-related bone loss are all excluded. Wear consistent with normal function over time is expected rather than defective.
If Something Goes Wrong: Our Complaints Route
Publishing a complaints route is a normal expectation of UK dental practice, and it is also a fair test of any clinic. A provider confident in its aftercare tells you how to challenge it.
- Step 1. Raise the issue with the London clinic in writing at [email protected], or by phone on 020 3302 9290. We acknowledge complaints within three working days.
- Step 2. The clinical lead reviews your records from both sites and responds in writing, normally within ten working days. Where a clinical assessment is needed first, we offer an appointment at no charge.
- Step 3. If you remain dissatisfied with private dental treatment in the UK, you can contact the Dental Complaints Service, an independent service funded by the GDC.
- Step 4. Where the concern is about a registrant’s conduct or fitness to practise, you can raise it directly with the General Dental Council. You do not need our permission to do this and it does not affect your warranty.
Complaints about surgical treatment carried out in Antalya are handled by the same route. The London team collects the clinical evidence in the UK so you are not asked to travel in order to make your case.
Emergency Support and Same-Day Appointments
Dental emergencies fall into two categories for implant patients: medical emergencies that need NHS 111 or A and E, and dental emergencies that need clinical assessment but not hospital intervention. Knowing the difference saves time and produces better outcomes.
When to contact NHS 111 or attend A and E first
- Severe facial swelling that affects breathing or swallowing
- Heavy bleeding that does not stop after 20 minutes of firm pressure
- Severe pain that does not respond to over-the-counter pain relief
- Signs of systemic infection such as fever or feeling generally unwell after dental work
- Trauma to the teeth or jaw from an accident
When to call our London clinic
- An implant feels loose or moves slightly
- A crown has chipped, cracked or come off
- A screw retainer feels loose when chewing
- Persistent discomfort or sensitivity around an implant
- The bite feels uneven or is causing jaw pain
- Suspected gum infection around an implant
For these issues the London team typically books a same-day or next-day assessment. Triage happens by phone first, where the coordinator or dentist asks specific questions to determine whether the issue is acute or can wait for a routine slot.
UK Aftercare Cost Reality
Cost is where the owned-clinic versus broker-network distinction becomes most concrete. The figures below show what the same appointments typically cost through each route.
| Aftercare Service | UK Private Dentist | Broker Network | Dentafly London |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6-month integration check | £80 to £150 | £80 to £150, reimbursed later | Included |
| Annual review with radiograph | £120 to £220 | £120 to £220, reimbursed later | Included |
| Hygiene appointment | £60 to £100 | £60 to £100, reimbursed later | Included |
| Screw retightening | £150 to £280 | £150 to £280, reimbursed later | Included, warranty |
| Occlusion adjustment | £100 to £200 | £100 to £200, reimbursed later | Included, warranty |
| Crown chip repair | £200 to £450 | £200 to £450, reimbursed later | Included, warranty |
| Emergency consultation | £90 to £180 | Variable, may not be covered | Included |
What this adds up to over time
A patient with full-mouth implants attending an annual review with a radiograph plus one hygiene appointment each year would spend roughly £180 to £320 a year at UK private rates, before any repair work. Over fifteen years, and allowing for occasional screw retightening or a chip repair, that accumulates into the low thousands of pounds. Under the Dentafly model those same routine appointments are included in the original Antalya treatment package, so the recurring figure is zero.
This is not a marketing claim so much as a description of two different cost structures. Broker networks pay UK contractors per consultation, so every visit has a price attached. An owned clinic pays permanent staff regardless of patient volume, so an extra appointment costs the clinic very little.
Your Records and Data Protection
Your treatment record is the reason our London appointments work, so it is worth being clear about where it lives and what rights you have over it.
- Who the data controller is: Vestadent Limited, the company that operates the London clinic, registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZC111000 at 230 Church Lane, NW9 8SN.
- What we hold: clinical notes, radiographs and CBCT scans, implant brand and batch numbers, prosthesis specifications, photographs, and your appointment history at both sites.
- Who can see it: the clinicians treating you in London and Antalya, and the aftercare coordinator managing your appointments. It is not shared with third parties for marketing.
- Cross-border transfer: because your record moves between the UK and Turkey, the transfer is covered by a written international data transfer agreement rather than an informal arrangement. Turkey is not currently covered by UK adequacy regulations, so this documentation is what makes the transfer lawful.
- Your rights: you can request a copy of your record, ask for factual errors to be corrected, and ask how long we keep it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
- If you are unhappy: you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator, at any point. You do not need to raise it with us first.
To exercise any of these rights, or to ask a question about how your records are handled, email [email protected] or write to us at the London clinic address.

Real UK Patient Experiences
UK couple Steven and Sarah document their Dentafly journey in the video below. Steven received 8 implants and 24 crowns. Sarah followed her husband after seeing his treatment results.
Hi, my name’s Steve. I’m from the UK. I had eight implants, twenty-four crowns, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. The level of service is amazing. Equipment is state of the art and there’s no better way of being treated.
Hi, I’m Sarah. I had my first lot of treatment and the staff here are brilliant. I came because my husband had already been done. And it was the best thing I’ve ever done.

What Patients Tell Us Directly
Google and Trustpilot show what patients choose to write in public, which skews towards the very pleased and the very unhappy. The survey below is a different instrument. We send it to patients after treatment and score the care experience across nine separate dimensions, so the middle of the distribution shows up rather than only the extremes.
One thing worth stating plainly: this is our own data, collected through our own patient portal, not an independent review platform. A first-party survey and a third-party review are different kinds of evidence and we would rather label the difference than blur it. What the survey adds is granularity. A star rating tells you people were happy. A nine-dimension score tells you which parts of the experience actually work and which ones we still have to fix. The widget shows every dimension we measure, not a selected subset.
